I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, where I spent my childhood immersed in adventure stories, often cultivating elaborate imaginary worlds right in my bedroom and backyard. This early love for "pretend play" naturally evolved into a deep passion for film, creative writing, and theater during high school.

I attended the University of Georgia and the University of Texas business schools, ready for my career as a CPA. I enjoyed my job, but I always longed for a creative outlet.

Everything changed when I became a mother. I left the corporate world to spend my days in the blissful, chaotic, and imaginative land of raising children. In our home, storytelling and entertaining became a daily necessity.

I started a photography business, and in the "wee hours,” I wrote two award-winning screenplays and four children’s book manuscripts.

With the incredible encouragement of my family and friends, I found the courage to pen my first novel, Keep Close, which has since earned exceptional editorial reviews, a 5-star rating on Readers’ Favorite, A Literary Titan Gold Book Award, and A Moonbeam Award for Children’s Literature.

Today, I live in Atlanta, GA, with my husband and our three children. They are the true joys of my life and serve as my greatest inspiration for every story I tell.
